In August of 2007, the Camarillo Writer’s Club was formed. We had a bit of a rocky start, but before long things were rolling. But the club needed time to mature, like fine wine it improved with age.

In it’s time; the Writer’s Club has amassed an impressive collection of talent. We now meet once each week to discuss our craft, offer critiques, and exchange ideas. We help each other as we suffer through writer’s block, we give support and talk out concepts, and together we all grow.

Like the Moscow Five, there is cross-pollination. Characters and concepts take on a life of their own as they find their way into the works of different authors. References and nuances only become clear when one takes in the full body of work being produced by the group.
